Acer Travelmate 8100 cosmetic improvements....

Thread Starter
hey guys...
since my TM8103 is finally workin, tho abit intermittent i'm thinking bout fixing it up cosmetically. the things bout a year old now and been thru the wars so inevitably the once clean, smooth silver paint on the lid has been scratched to death.

does anyone hav any idea how much it'll cost to:
1) get a new LCD lid cover/case
2) how much it'd b to obtain
3) how hard to get hold of one
4) how hard to install

i'm also toying wiv the idea of getting the rubberised ferrari and carbon fiber cases n hackin of em ferrari logos coz aesthetically they look and feel better than the rather cheap feeling plastic on the 8100....is it possible to put these cases on the 8100? cos i kno the port layout is the same but i'm not sure how its like internally...

After a year of using my 8103 I decided to make a small cosmetic improvement and went for 2GB of RAM instead of factory fitted 512 MB. That was £180 well spent - i definitely reccomend it to you - remember - what is inside counts...
