Sager 8887 (888E) and World of Warcraft

I have a Sager 888E (green Label) lap top 1 gig ram, mobility 9000, windows 2000 pro and have a question about performance while playing World of Warcraft.

I can play the game with all video settings low but, the mouse pointer seems to be a bit slow... not as responsive as a desktop. The mouse moves slowly (does not studder).

I have the original drivers from Sager that are posted on their site and was thinking that maybe there is something I can do to make the game more responsive... ie update the video drivers, change the mouse drivers (logitech laptop mouse and drivers), should I try to over clock the video etc.

Or is the LapTop/Videocard out of it's league in terms of World of Warcraft?

Thanks in advance for any help.

Try the Catalist Drivers from ATI's web page.

I got the ATI program from their site that checks compatiblity with the laptop.

According to the program ATI Catalist Drivers are not compatiblity with the 8887 (888E Green) Sager.

The message from the program is to check with the laptop's manfacture.. Sager but, their site only has the drivers from the orginal installation.

This has brought me to a dead end...is there any other suggestions?

Thank you
