Video Bios and Video Driver

Hi'

I have the ATI MobilityRadeon X300 in my 9300, question whats the difference between a video bios and video driver? Should both be updated?

Pronounced "bye-ose," an acronym for basic input/output system. The BIOS is built-in software that determines what a computer can do without accessing programs from a disk. On PCs, the BIOS contains all the code required to control the keyboard, display screen, disk drives, serial communications, and a number of miscellaneous functions.

A driver, meanwhile, is the windows end of the hardware, which tells windows how to operate. As far as I know, companies rarely release updated vid bios', but updating your drivers once a month or so is a good idea because new drivers will usually work better.
