YAY! lets hope GeForce Tony gets working on the mobile version ASAP! Its good to hear that us Nvidia users will be getting optimisations for this game, as it already seems very demanding. As long as there is no image degration on any kind

Which one will be better for playing Oblivion...the laptopvideo2go drivers that allow overclocking, or the new ones?

The new ones that were made specifically for Oblivion OBVIOUSLY!

lol

you can overclock with so many programs including, powerstrip, coolbits, ati tool...etc

so when these drivers come out (and hopefully they'l support mobile cards) install them! overclock with something else.

if i install these 84.25 drivers and have the coolbits thing installed will i still be able to overclock? i think i'm gonna need to to get oblivion running at a respectable frame rate.. can't wait till friday! (yep fraid that's when it's coming out over here in the UK )

edit: sorry perhaps that wasn't quite clear.. will it mean installing the coolbits thing again in order to O/C?

I'm confused, from what I've read in other threads, the 6800 ultra is bios locked so you can't OC with drivers. Or has this recently changed?

Anyhow, I'm getting oblivion tommorow afternoon (preordered the CE), looking forward to it.

No, you can not overclock those cards software. You'll have to flash the BIOSs.

He got 6800NU, which can be OCd from drivers.

Anyway, LV2Go is pretty quick with drivers, they release a modified inf quickly. Tony uses infs from LV2Go, just adds/modifies a few things.

Cheers, that's what I thought! Looking at the first few posters sigs everyone was running 6800U or 7800 and talking about software oc'ing. Naturally I got a bit confused.

A mere 6800go? Tss... kids these days...

I know... it really hit home when looking at the oblivion sys reqs.. my card falling quite clearly under the "Mid-range" section... disappointing to say the least, but i spose that's just the way the technology market works..
