Fried Toast, Thanks for the advice. Purchasing from the USA (PCTorque) seems like the best idea for me here in New Zealand. I will be using the system for work while I'm on holiday in Europe, so I wouldn't want to risk getting a system in Europe or Asia unless I was absolutely sure it was going to work out.
Just for a comparison on prices, A local retailer here is selling a D430 (
http://www.ascent.co.nz/mn-product-spec.asp?pid=118357) for USD$1,681.57, while PCTorque has 5680s for 1595.44 (less shipping and duty to get it here). Of course, the low USD accentuates this difference at the moment.
FYI: After searching the forum a bit, it looks like STAMP may be a Clevo brand in HK.
