Can I even do this? I noticed it doesn't support some of my devices, and am hoping that there is a way to install a different compatible bluetooth stack for my I6000. Thanks.

Did you install the bt update on dells website, cause it solved all problems for me.

Afaik you can also install widcomm stacks, but that did not change much for me except that suspend to ram and disk did not work any longer.

Thanks found it.

I now have Widcomm Bluetooth Stack version 5.0.1.802 yay

I use this version too

The latest WIDCOMM version is 5.0.1.1400, but the .802 works the best for me.

Funnily 802 stopped my i6000 from entering hybernation or suspend to ram.
And an older version had no simple way (via right click menu of the bt icon) to turn off bluetooth, which is a feature I musn't miss.
