5672 Video Freeze Problem with Editing Software

The Acer Apsire 5672 has a video freeze prolem when capturing and playing back with the programs: Avid Xpress Pro 4.5 and Premiere Pro 6.0.
I have been trying to solve this issue between Avid and Acer for the past 4 weeks. Thought I'd try here. Anybody have any experience or solutions here. Video editing not a gaming issue, with the ATI x1400 card on board.

Same as mentioned in the other forum, if you're talking about a blue screen, then download the latest audio drivers. There's a thread out there with the location you can search for...

I know, I placed this is other forums to spread it out for answers. No, this has nothing to do with getting a blue screen. It's a frame freeze, and won't play beyond that. I am sure it has something to do with the ATI card.
