notebook hardware control

Thread Starter
after having kicked out the acer Epower management (it locks the cpu), I now want something else.
I find the xp energy control a bit confusing, cuz it doesn't really tell how it handles the cpu...
Are there any users with 'notebook hardware control' and that are very satisfied with it?

many thnx

It's a rather good program, very easy to use, with very informative tray icons. It'll also allow you to undervolt your processor, assuming you have a Pentium M, thus saving you battery life and heat output. I recommend you give it a try and see if you like it.

Maybe if you had a Pentium M it would have worked. duh.

The revision (1.10 beta 1) is supposed to work on Pentium 4s as well, but aparrently there are issues. Sudds isn't the only one who can't get it to work on a P4. On P-Ms or Athlons, though, it should work fine. I love it.

No, It says on the website it now supports a Mobile Intel Pentium 4.

It works great for me. I can't live without it now - it has become one of those must have programs. It reduces my cpu temp about 10c.

And it also states the version clearly as beta...

I am a happy user of nhc too.

Well, whatever. Sudds is different. It's a great program.
