pity that it's got only the wsxga screen and not wsxga+ or wuxga
post #3 of 27
How much will it cost? An infamity, for sure. I don't think the price will be as competitive as the M x438g, since I believe the only reason it had a great price was because fs knew of it's defects and tried to sell them quickly.

edit: found a site that prices it at 1800€ (2200$ usd). Kind of pricey, as I expected, even tough it seems a great notebook.

Hello,

can you tell me where did you see this price?

Thanks.
Hi.

I can't find the site where I saw that price, but I did a search and found others. For example, this one is selling it for 1500€ when it arrives on stock: http://www.pixmania.com/fr/fr/255790...E0NTYyNjQzNzs=

Make a search on

I say: could anyone here predict wether this model might suffer from the lagging defect? Maybe by checking the computer's full configuration one might say.

FSC may be criminally negligent in terms of repairing a known hardware issue that we're suffering from...but I doubt that they are stupid enough not to make absolutely sure that the same issue isn't present in the next generation of the model.

I'm sure that they looked at the raid controller more closely this time. Then again, you never know, they clearly have horrible quality control.

I think that too. A multi-national company can't afford, in today's market, to continually make mistakes like that.

that's a nice setup and cheap , though the TOSHIBA SATELLITE P105-S921 has a better one i belive is lighter and costs 1800-1860$ from US online shops , that fujitsu though would make a damn good deal if i go to the UK and get the VAT refunded so i pay just £851 , now then it'd be a real steal ^^ assuming there'll be an actual store selling for that price :P

anyone knows if this laptop has the same lag issue like 3438?
Isn't this laptop available in the US or something, since there are STILL no reviews up..

I've decided to buy a laptop and i'm pretty sure i'm gonna choose this one. it's available for 1800€ here in Finland.
If not reviews, i'd at least want to see some good pics of the thing..

It frustrates me to no end that there's SO LITTLE information on this laptop online..

wats the comparison of the Fujitsu Siemens Amilo M3438G's nVidia 6800 graphics card to the 1546's ati X1600?

(3D gamingwise)
I'd say 6800 is faster on older games, 1600 on newer - but not a big difference.
btw the Xi 1546 has a x1800 in it not the x1600 just to clear that up for you
