Hiti Folks,

I am hoping that someone can help me out. I want to plug my lappy into my TV (TV is brand new and has scart, video audio and headphone connections) can you tell me exactly what cables I need and perhaps a link, so that i can have a look at one.

Here in Ireland it costs 35 euros from Maplin or PC World, but I am probably looking at the wrong or "delux" version...

you'll need seperate cables for audio and video
Does your TV allow for audio to come IN to play through it's speakers? You would need something that goes from speaker out/headphones to the IN port of your tv...
As for Video... S-video will limit you to 480 lines, so if your desktop is 640x480, it will display fine (but it is a crappy resolution) anything bigger and you will have to scroll up/down and left/right to view but never having the entire display on your TV
