Isn't there a demo for it? Give that a shot.

It will be more then sufficient to run it. have you seen the requirements? it supports even the very low budget cards of both ati and Nvidia. So considering how the laptop card is one of the top mobile cards your pretty good. It'll probably run it at above average settings too

wtf? Your EB got it and mine didnt? I went all the way out there and they told me it didnt get there yet and I RESERVED A COPY!!! I LIVE IN FRIGGIN MARYLAND!!! BETHSOFT IS IN FRIGGIN MARYLAND TOO!!! WE SHOULD BE THE FIRST TO GET IT!!! YAAAARRRGG!!!

[/end ranting]

But onto the subject, your machine will more than handle it. It might be good to upgrade that RAM though. If its anything like BF2 or FEAR it'll run fine with 1 gig but 2 gigs will shine.

son of a monkey, i preordered oblivion for my 360 and i live in sacramento come on!!!

A 6800go should be able to handle it. Here is recommended system:
* 3 Ghz Intel Pentium 4 or equivalent processor
* 1 GB System RAM
* ATI X800 series, NVIDIA GeForce 6800 series, or higher video card
I imagine that you will not be able to run it with all the goodies on but you will be able to play it with most.

The game looks and plays great on my xbox 360. You are in for a treat!

I'm running it on my 3GHzP4 6800go rev1 without too much trouble. I just scaled it down a bit and turned off the specular lighting pass. Looks awesome. I need more RAM. :O

A friend got it and ran it on a P4 3GHz, 1GB RAM and a R9600Pro. It ran fine at 1280x720 with the default details and no AA. It lagged only slightly but looked pretty nice.

I didn't even know this was an anticipated game. I was looking at the box wondering what the game was...

You may be closer to Bethesda, But you are farther from China where the discs are actually made.

Wow, that is exactly my laptop (sager 5680). I was wondering if it would run even on 800x600, but 1280x720 - that is really impressive. I'll get it as soon as it will be available in my country...

Keep in mind a desktop R9600Pro is probably faster than the mobile version though. Still, it should be decently playable.

With HDR turned off, you'll be fine. Or, you can turn the resolution way down and have HDR on. But with that setup, it'll look good.

I question how good the engine is...it seems somewhat similar to the CryEngine with the way it handles terrain in the distance, except it really chokes during the outdoor scenes. I can't be sure, I'm still playing with all the graphics settings. I can play Far Cry at 1920x1200 with HDR on and it runs faster than this game at 1440x900 w/HDR (during outdoor scenes). What do you think?

I'm running this on a 7800 GTX Go, 2GB of ram, 2Ghz Pentium M.

Got this game 2 days ago... It's so good and addicting. I'm currently running it on 1280x800 with a few shadows and HDR off. It runs pretty well on my setup. The graphical details in this game is amazing even though I'm only running it on an x700. This is the RPG I've been waiting on for years on the PC, since I never got into WoW or all those other MMORPG. I def like the old school single player experience better. I can kinda relate this to Zelda. So for those considering to buy this game... def go for it. Well worth it!

Well check my sig. I already installed. The auto-system set to high settings on 1024x768. I get some artifacts after 2.5 hours of play. But I let the system idle (pause) about 1 hour of that time. The game looks good.

My rig runs it fine at 2560 by 1600

I got the game finally I run the game perfectly at 1280x800 with high graphics and x4AA on an x700. Its beautiful!

I'm running it fine, at 1920x1200, with 4x AA, and all options turned to max.

Of course, thats on my Athlon 4800x2, 2 gig, dual 7800GTX SLI desktop
