I keep falling in love with this laptop! - Page 2

My fiance was perpetually mad at me for the first month I had my I6000D! She was like "You don't want to spend time with me, you just want to play with the laptop!". I told her anytime I get some new technology I'm going to be kinda obsessed with it for the first few weeks. It eventually settled down and now she doesn't yell at me when I bust it out now. We're getting married in 2 months so I haven't exactly had time to play games much though. It'll get better once we're in the same house though, it's a PITA driving to her house and back home every afternoon(~30 minute drive each way).

Now I have the E1505 on the way she's going to be mad again! I have to get her a new laptop once we're married though, she needs to upgrade the old I5000 she's had since college. I was going to get her a M140 since she wants a smaller screen than my I6000. We'll see how much she ends up playing with it when she has a new toy!

I dont know my girl just loves my hobbys for some reason. We were driving back from the city the other day in grid hour traffic she broke it out on her lap and we watched a family guy eppisode on my 17 incher while traffic barley moved , she turned the fans on low to keep her legs warm too haha.

I wish my fiance shared some of my interests. It's ok, because she's perfect in every other way, but it would be cool if she'd take a ride on the motorcycle, go to the drag races, try surfing, learn about computers or something with me. But pretty much everything I'm interested in she doesn't like at all. Oh well.

That is why I love my girl, she is so supportive of everything I do, I used to build custom motorcycles and drag race (she would help me all night long in the garage and be there all day at the track cooking, I crashed the bike in these pictures at over 100 mphs . . . Luckily I lived, but she was with me every day and helped me recoop (im still screwed up in a few spots, such as my wrist and knee)

Sorry about the bike and your injuries but at least you're alive.

It freaks me out what people do on bikes. I'm on my way to becoming a doctor and my sister is a physical therapist. I've seen some people in recovery who are brain damaged, or have to learn to walk again for example. Bikes may be fun, but the risk is huge. At least in a car drag racing there's a cage or roll bar, etc.

I go to Miami sometimes to visit my sis and see guys zooming down the highway in shorts, t-shirt and no helmet. All I can thing is "real smart there boys!"

Once, my buddy and I were coming back from a party at 6 a.m. He doing around 100 m/p/h on the highway and this bike flew past us like we were driving in reverse. If that guy crashed, they'd pick him up a mile from the site. :0

I had a '02 Kawasaki ZX-6R, but I just sold it. We needed money for the wedding since we're paying for it ourselves. I'll be getting another one within a year or so though, as I'm already itching for one and it's only been a few weeks. I wear full gear when I ride though, you'll never see me in shorts on a bike. I made that mistake once, just going up to the clubhouse to get my mail and someone almost hit me after blowing through a stop sign. I went down and scraped off a good amount of skin along with a massive bruise on my hip. If I had had my gear on I would have walked without a scratch. From then on I didn't go more than 10 feet on the bike without all my gear on. I ended up going down one other time and ended up flipping over the front of the bike, not a scratch on me becuase I had all my gear on. It really pays to wear it, I'd rather be hot and sweaty than lose skin.
