I am getting this error when I try to install the extremg drivers and Nvidias updated drivers, I've reinstalled the orginal bootrom, and I'm still getting this error. I have a 7800 GTX go. I never had this problem when I installed drivers for the 6800go Ultra. Anyone know what I can do to alleviate this problem??? PM me or something please. thanks

did you run Driver cleaner (i think its called)in safe mode after uninstalling the old drivers? maybe you have some left over chunks of the old driver ....

IDK what a boot rom is so im probably not much use...

oh well .. someone will be bye soon (hope its something silly)

I figured it out lol, I was trying to install the regular forceware drivers, I didnt know there was a difference between these and the mobileforceware drives by extreme g....funny though, the drivers on nvidias website specifically for the 7800 gtx go wouldnt work either...
