Yea, I'm not worrying anymore about it as long as it's not a hardware or software issue. It does not seem to affect performance anyway, and it boots up quite fast. And besides Im loving my 710M for its screen, it is just awesome!

Thanks. I dl pwerstrip and it says that I have the SEC3157 monitor, so whose the manfacturer of that?

Samsung. I know that Michello on this forums has also got a Samsung screen on his 710m as well & he bought it last Dec in Australia.

Thanks for the reply MitchellO. Mine does it at evry boot up, although it does not bother or concern me anymore since it does not seem to have any effect on the computer. It is as solid and fast as it can be, we have quite similar specs by the way. And I like the starfleet insignia you sitcked on your lappy. Voyager and Defiant rules!
