angle-I don't care

power source-both would be nice, just so you could have some options, but if it had to be either one: USB
and I concur with Blizard, I think there should also be a switch for fan intensity, and on that note:
louder CFM fans would be awesome for it's high output, but if we could order it online people should be able to have a choice between quieter fans or louder fans. kind of like configuring it. in fact people should be able to configure whatever they want on it like colors for example.
and you should also make specific models for specific companies and makes, so the fans line up perfectly (there should be more than two fans unlike the Lapcool 4), it might also be useful to have something like clips, so it can hang onto the Aurora whitch is quite thick. I'm just throwing ideas out here
Thanks for the feedback, I'm not doing this to start a business just to cool my laptop down LOL. I figured I would just try and share it with everyone and not keep it to myself.

I know we can do a variable on the fans, Simple potientiometer in the circuit can do that. As far as a USB hub I would say just say get your own hub otherwise the costs could go up and up if we did that.

I was just planning on making this to sit on a desk, not for a lap as I don't use my 7700 ever on my lap.

I've got the basic layout of the fans for that I'll be mailing to the guy tomorrow. He will then design it for us and hopefully will have some prototype pics in a week or two.

Well I know 100% that they will. The company I'm dealing with I know personally and has already done stuff for me in the past in other industries.

I'd be willing to buy one of these. I'm not going to comment on how to design it, because I know nothing in that regard, but I'll buy one if it looks good.

Good to see someone else here in the RC hobbie. Good idea's on the cooler and keep us posted on how it turns out.

Pic of my last toy, REVO (man I love the smell of nitromethane in the morning).

it would still help m5700's just to put alot of cool air under it. i have a m5700 and i would be willing to purchase one when you get some pics up and specs

what does this mean the manufacturer bit?

i just figured there both 17" so although not as thick i expect the length width would be the same so i thought the main bits would be located in a similar postion therefore for example the GPU's in the same place hence the fan for this in the same place

The 5700 is manufactured by Uniwill (I believe) and the 7700 is by Clevo so there is almost no chance of the fans being in the same place.

I'm sure it wouldn't hurt to have it under there though.

yeah, it would make it that much better if you could design it to work onto my lap, with little grooves in it like someone said. but yeah, not suggestions to start a business, just suggestions for if the company you're working with to sell them on their website. I've got more ideas if you want them.

I'm still interested to see how this thing turns out. Might be cool, lol (pun intended).
