I have an old Samsung notebook that I am trying to look windows 98 onto through an external cd rom. Because the computer hard drive does not have windows on it I have to work with real mode drivers and the like in the autoexec.bat and config.sys files. I have read the readme file that accompanied the driver and set it up the best I could on a boot disk but during boot up I get the same error message everytime that the driver is not loaded. The cd rom is a panasonic KXL-D740. Can anyone give me a hand here?
