Oblivion....is amazing!!! It will make you feel lame about your computer though. Ugh

I've been playing The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion for about five hours today and let me just say this, I haven't seen a better looking game ever! It out does everything out today easy. It even goes beyond what you'd think was possible in a game today! I think it was someone here trying to explain how they felt when they got out of the cave in Farcry and saw the beach for the first time. That jaw dropping expierence that went along with you all the way through the game. Well, this game will make you need to visit your dentist as you'll suffer from lockjaw. It really is that good!
It has the most life like outdoor enviorments, everything is alive.
On another note, you will need some heavy equipment in your Alien to keep all settings maxed out! With what I have it runs pretty smooth but, certain sections bog down to about 10 FPS and that's no good. I don't think this is fault of the game, more like my graphics card. I need a newer one! On avarage I get 30fps with game maxed out but those little spots where there's more than 5 people in one area slows the show down hard. I'm thinking ATI's X9000 xtx would do the trick. Well, I'm going back to the game.

Hey, how do I take a in-game screenshot? I have a program to take screenshots but it won't work if a game is running. Let me know guys.....thanks!! As a side note, I tried stealing some bread from an old lady in her house and she ran up stairs and grabed her dagger. This hag started slashing me so I pulled out my axe and sent her to her grave. I wasn't planning to kill her....but, she started with the dagger and all. All I wanted was the bread. Anyway, just as I was leaving her house a royal gaurd entered her home, saw what I had done and called out to some of his other gaurd friends. Needless to say, I was quickly on the run. I had four royal gaurds chasing me through the city. I was dead soon after and all this mishigaus, over bread!!! So, the lesson I have learned today is, if your going to steal, make sure nobodys looking when you do it!!!

What? The "print screen" button won't work with this game running? Anyway, when you do get the screen to print, don't compress the image, give us full size and full quality so we can get the full effect.

You mentioned it was lagging on you a lot, personally I prefer to go for speed and not quality, it improves gameplay. However, I know the joy of letting a little skippage slip though every now and then to get some eye candy explotions in return.

Very cool looking game!

Those are beautiful, but they're not uncompressed images at native resolution. Yes, I know, I'm way too picky. Is this game all first person, or just certain modes?

Should I get 360 or PC?

hit print screen then open a program like paint (or whatever you got) hit edit then hit paste. so basicly when you hit print screen you just take a copy of whatever you see on the screen then you need to paste it in a photo editer.

If it's largely first person, than probably PC. If it plays better on a controller or the PC version is buggy or something, than obviously 360. However, if you have a gamepad, than you're back to PC again and staying there. I really like my Logitec cordless rumblepads and my console game emulators. NES, SNES, sega, n64, PS1... all free...

...Sorry, I got lost, what was the question? Oh, yeah, find out how it plays and follow my incredibly obvious advice for choosing which system, and, uh, there you go.

Get it for the PC and use a wired 360 control to play...best of both worlds!!! Plus that way you can have the Construction Set to create your own mods.
