8204 NIC/LAN Intel eeprom file pulled?

Thread Starter
The previous posts that detail the resolution to this problem have links that no longer contain the intel_eeprom.zip file.

Was this pulled or intergrated into another fix?

Huh...they are gone from the Acer site...I wonder why.

Well, I uploaded them to my http://www.box.net account and set them to public share:

http://www.box.net/public/8sm2t9kqzu

Grab both files. The info.txt file has the text from the webpage that Acer had up about how to update the eeprom file, also shown below:

Hi I'm sorry couldn't find the Intel_Eeprom.zip too. The Box.net Link doesn't contain the file anymore neither does acer US nor Europe. I'm wondering if anyone still has it and could send it to me or up it somewhere!

I really hope you could help me out because Acer just tells me to send my laptop in but my guaranty is gone since 2 month so I would have to pay for a repair!!!

thank you

steven
