Sorry but I could only find the spec. in Swedish. Hopefully you can figure it out.

The 5024's Mobility Radeon X700 should give you a better gaming performance than the 5620's X1300. However, though, the 5620, which has a Centrino Duo, should give you a better multitasking. But since your primary purpose for gaming, I would recommend the 5024.

if you are going to match the x700 for performance you need to get at least a machine with a geforce 7600 or ati x1600
the x1300 and x1400 are cut down versions and are more like an nvidia 7300

the x1400 runs games ok but is not good if you want FEAR with everything ramped up, you have to run at 800x600 no AA but can have volumetric lighting on without too much impact, it is playable at that with medium settings

My 1st post - maybe I get lucky

Hey Guys!

I'm bit confused about this forum - so many things - not sure where to find what I need...
Anyway, maybe You'll be able to help me...

Since yesterday I am a proud owner of Aspire 5622 WLi ---- I changed it for my "old" 3GHz P4 desktop replacement HP...

Anyway, appart loudspeakers on Aspire beeing unusable (comparing to HP), one more thing really bugs me...

Whenever I touch the touchpad, my soundcard starts producing some buzzing noise, which lasts a second or two after I've stopped using touchpad...

Really annoying thing....

Anyone had simmilar problem? Solution????

Thnx! Hope I'll hang arround this forum in future with more answers then questions, but untill it starts going that way, thnx in advance!

lol l guess this a little late however l would update the souncard/onboard drivers l used to get popping on my 5021 till l update the drivers/bios etc.

hope this help's and l am guessing u have sorted it by now anywasy.
