8890 Tv-Tuner replacement

hi, I just wondered if you replace the TV-Tuner in the 8890 configuration, do you stille have the video-in? I guess that the video-in is attached to the TV-Card, isn't it?

Why can't you replace the Tv-Tuner with the a second battery in the configuration? Does the 8890 not provide the second battery option?

thx

Yes the s-video-in stays and the cable connector to the tv card comes out with the card, you can not add another battery but you could put a hard drive in its place.

ok, thx.
To bad that the 8890 can't handle dual battery
Did you remove the TV-Tuner?
How good is the video in anyway?

No I did not I have had it hooked up to cable and it works great, I have not used the s-video in yet.

I just can't decide. I think the TV-Tuner is a good thing to use it as a video recorder, that's quite nice.

Maybe you can share with me some thoughts you had, when you had to decide which machine to take (5680, 8890)?

Well I have had the 5680 and the alienware 51m2 which I still have and I still like the 8890 it has more ports and 16.1 screen, it may not look as nice as the area51

oh my godness, you are my guy.
Could you just give me some quick pros and cons about these three machines? That would be great and I would really appreciate that, because maybe that would help me to decide

btw is the battery time from the alien really better than from a sager?

thx
