Waterproof?

Well when I got my sentia i was reading the page and i remember seeing that they said the keyboard was waterproof, i am not sure if the new sentias say that but i was wondering if anyone knew if it was or has tried to see if the keyboard is waterproof. Theres no way im trying but hopefully someone on these fourms have

No I dont plan to go divin with it, and im not wanting to know so much to call an AW rep just wondering if anyone had an incident and what happend like zmaster.
Its just good to know if u spill somethin your not screwed

yup. ibm has this on their entire line. just hope it doesnt get wet though. water-proof watches have aren't waterproofed too well either...

I wish they would show a video of them proving it or they just say that so you try it, ruin your laptop, and have to buy a new one, Great marketing strategy!

actually there was/is an ibm/lenovo commercial with a cup of coffee spilling onto a laptop or tablet.

Well looking at the keyboard very closely I think there is a chance a minor spill would be ok. If you look it almost has a tray (black lip around all edges) so a minor spill would be safe, However spill a whole cup of coffee and I'm sure you are Fubar.

just dont spill or pour anything on it and your safe, be careful with it....

Wow, waterproof eh? Thats cool... hey how do you all clean your keyboards? Just with an Air Spray can? Or can you pop off all the keys and clean it that way?

Be carefull doing that, I once sucked a key right off the keyboard using the small shopvac.
