This thread is NOT for trolling or flaming. I think many people who tend to be loud are getting attention, but we should really be able to see what the CURRENTgeneral consensus is about continued purchases of Alienware systems.

PLEASE, NO COMMENTS, JUST VOTE. THERE IS ALREADY A THREAD TO DISCUSS THIS. THIS IS ONLY FOR STATISTICAL PURPOSES. I WANT TO DO ANOTHER POLL DOWN TEH ROAD TO COMPARE.

I'm kinda with Red on this. I'm not sure 3 months is long enough.

I'd have to wait and see .

Thanks for doing this DB, I think this is interesting info.

I personally do not feel the same way about Alienware that I felt 2 days ago but I will wait and see how things pan out, and thats how I voted.

Be interesting to see how this voting goes as time goes on ...... might suggest that after the bitterness has left, that most people will continue to buy and support AW ... as a gazillion have already said ... time will tell.

I'm done with alienware forever... but i was done before the aquisition

I will be buying an AW probably within the next couple of months. There won't be any changes to AW (if any at all) until 6-12 months down the road. We were bought out just before X-Mas, and the changes are very slow to take effect: We have just recently (March 1st) been officially named the new company, so I really doubt that any changes will take place with AW within 6-12 months...

From what I understand, you have bought almost every type/brand of computer made. However, I will not be buying your Sentia, as you used it while on the toilet...

I don't think I'll be buying another AW. When I was choosing between my current laptop and a dell 8600, I went with AW because I didn't want to give my money to dell. Well...I can't do that anymore. I guess my next purchase will have to be a sager/clone, acer, or maybe even a dual boot mac. Prolly go with FNW for a desktop...which is easy 'cuz they're local. I doubt anything will change with AW, but I refuse to support dell in any way.

I am done with AW. Even though the letter from respective CEOs make it seem that this acquisition is more like a partnership, the buyer will always change things around. I beleive there will still be an alienware brand and a dell brand, but I think components within those computers will change (in a bad way for AW branded PCs). Therefore my next system will not be a dell, nor an alienware.
