I have this memory installed in my Inspiron 14R. 6gb (one 2gb & one 4gb). Great performance! I highly recommend Kingston.

Well what can I say, I needed that little bit of extra storage that as a family we could all use. After searching around I narrowed it down to three suppliers, not the cheapest, but all well...

I purchased this Nook Color specifically because I was taking a very long trip to China and wanted to be able to read without carrying a ton of books. I also liked that it had email capability...

This is an awesome mouse with an excellent grip for a mid sized to large size hand. Right-handed, comfortable, trendy, upscale, red, responsive, functional, task oriented. Overall A+++

It would seem that the Ax9 just doesnt have a high enough resolution to justify an sli setup. I havent ever seen one in person so I very well may be wrong. I can tell you from my own personal sli rig I had to upgrade to a 24 inch lcd to get all the juicy eye candy to actually show. My 19 inch only supported 1280x1024 which just couldnt produce enough detail at that resolution. I can tell you that at 1900x1200 my 7800 gtx sli desktop looks stunning. As for the question of duo core and video rendering I do believe it will be an undispensable asset in the near future as newer software is written to take full advantage of it. I personally will not buy the Ax9 or any other similar model until they offer a higher resolution. Just my 2 cents which due to rising gas prices and inflation is now only 1.3 cents.

I'd pick the FX7 especially if you're planning on using the laptop on something other than gaming at any time. The AX9 I'm sure beats the FX7 in gaming benchmarks, but hopefully the FX7 upgradeablity will carry on to next-gen GPUs, like the G80, and it is very likely that one next-gen card will outperform a current gen SLI setup. In that case in order to have the AX9 beat the FX7 again you'd have to upgrade both GPUs, and so on and on until the CPU becomes the bottleneck. And I'm sure that will happen to the Turion first.

Also, I believe the chassis alone for the EX7 / FX7 alone is nicer in that you get 2 hard drives and 2 optical drives installed all at once. They are truly desktop replacements in that regards, if you go on more than gaming benchmarks.
Also, you get a higher resolution WUXGA display with both of these machines. In my own personal case, that would seal the deal.

Yes, if you are only going to be using the laptop for business purposes and encoding, the FX7 is likely to be the better choice. While the 1680x1050 screen on the the AX9 is not going to take full advantage of an SLI setup now, by the time games such as UT2k7 come out, you will have a system ready to take it on, while the single 7800GTX and the higher resolution screen will struggle. Of course you have to take into account the issues that SLI can have from time to time.

same chassis different mobo, same slot, most definitely will be compatible with all d900 based notebooks. this includes hypersonic, alienware, voodoo, falcon, sager, and the rest. dell is out of the gate early because they are 100% propraitary. im just waiting for clevo to send out those goddamn cards!
