Both the 7800 go and the GTX cards are awsome units. The reason you are scoring to near GTX cards is infact partly due to you running a cooler card with the mod. But if you view the breakdown of the mark-scores, you will see that your bread winner is the dual core. It gains more then 2X then points then my system with a single 760. If you break down the scores and normalize for you having kickass dual cores, you will see that actuall difference in card performance. The difference is rather significant, and 3dmark may not tell the entire story when compaing the 7800go to the 7800GTX go.
On the other hand I dont think my 760 makes full use of the GTX, and it looks like you all are gonna be able to upgrade further then us G2 users. So you still sit in a better position then I do with future compadibility.
2 badass systems none the less
