I'm thinking of buying a wireless access point soon. I want something with good security and a reliable connection. One model I've looked at is the Netgear WAG102. I already own a Netgear FVS318 firewall, so I would be connecting the access point to that. The Netgear WAG102 is a little pricey, but it is more of a 'business class' AP with some good security features and it supports 802.11a, which means I wouldn't get interference from my 2.4GHz cordless phone.
Has anyone had any experience with this AP, or can anyone recommend any others I should check out? My sister has the D-Link DI-624 in her apartment, but the connection on that thing can be flakey at times. Mind you, she lives in an area with about 6 other APs near her apartment (one of them unsecure!). And her and her roommate's 2.4GHz cordless phones probably don't help things either.
