9750 Hard Drive Question

Can it support both a PATA and SATA drive at the same time? Does it come with both cables? is there any other mounting hardware required to install a second drive? thanks

Thanks for the info. For SATA do i need to purchase a second cable for the second drive i am installing myself? Is there any other hardware required?

It uses a single cable with three connectors (mainboard, disk1 and disk2).

If you had a previous SATA disk in the 9750, then you simply add another SATA drive.
If you had a PATA drive and want to move to SATA, you need your to get the proper
cable from your laptop supplier. I have found the cable to be a custom one, and not something you can purchase on the market.
