Experience with Accidental Damage Policy

Thread Starter
I just thought I'd report that my brother had to take advantage of the accidental damage policy when the screen on his AX7 died. I hope hypersonic still uses the same warranty company because the service was flawless.

There were no arguements about whether or not we were elligble for a repair. We were given access to a site that gave us an up-to-date status on the repair. And finally the whole process only took about 2 weeks. My brother ultimately got a new wsxga screen with no dead pixels.

Since there are so many horror stories on these forums about horrid extended warranty support I thought I'd report a positive one.

That is really nice to know. I have that on my EX7 system, but I hopefully plan on never having to use the service

If you only knew how many times having this policy has saved people. The horror stories are too numerous to mention...

everyone knows that massaging the scalp with 37year old crisco will clear up your problems in a jiffy. glad to hear your experience was good bigtrouble. often it seems as though the people with good experiences keep their mouths quiet while the few and far between bad cases are very very vocal giving the brand a bad image.
