Clonedancient, I disagree. Why should this thread be closed so Go-L can avoid answering the questions that are forthcoming? Why should they get away with lying to consumers? Thank goodness for open forums like this where we can discuss the issues without being censored. If it weren't for places like www.talknotebooks.com and www.resellerratings.com we'd all be going out blindly and making investment decisions without any information. Closing this thread will just help companies like Go-L continue to lie and rip people off.

Man-o-man you flayed Mr. Liebermann right proper. If you, indeed, are sure about all your research you've basically unsubstantiated every claim he's made.
Don't know the truth about all of it. I do agree with the fundamental issue here: If you own a company and market notebooks..stay the hell out of these forums...and above all - DON'T POST! Every remark, comment, retort, defense, will only boomarang on ya, especially when you saturate everything with demeaning sarcasm.
By the way, are we sure this poster is really Mr. Liebermann of Go-L Support or maybe an instigator (myself for example) that is fueling the forum fires?

Pretty much, except I failed to mention that he actually buys his notebooks from Sager. I would be interested to know how they react to the "Taiwanese" comment.

I wouldn't recommend closing this thread. Personally, between all the attacks-slander-accusations-rebuttals-etc I've learned a lot about notebooks and forum folks. Also, don't demean the Taiwanese.

this one deserves to be closed, but not deleted. There is no need to keep add post to this thread so GoISupport acheives his objective of advertising. Did you notice that he hasn't responded in many days? That is because he can just come up with a flame/advertising thread and ppl will mindlessly discuss/flame/support it. So it should be closed so it dies to the bottom of the forum.

Just to clear it up, the poster claiming to represent Go-L appears to be 100% legit through their email registration/confirmation using @go-l.com.

As for why the thread has not been removed:
Both sides of the table (Go-L and supporters vs. those questioning the business) are here. There have been a lot of negative comments towards the company itself leaving this the perfect opportunity for them to clear any and all issues up.

Thank you Adam... and might we hear what your stance is on the matter? I believe we havent heard a single thing from you concerning Go-L and the various things they have said in regards to what they offer, and then taking it back, etc.

Or maybe you already made your comments under a disguised name ... Of course it will be perfectly fine if you dont share your thoughts with us.

Now... to wait for Go-L-Support to show up and clear things up around here... such as the questions that have been bothering us. Or maybe he will just come and spill some more lies from his

No, I have not and will not use a false identity to represent any of my opinions or sway any thread.

I'd rather stay out of it as I've never had any experience with the company other than the forums. I will not get involved with who they buy through and what specs are incorrect and why. I don't agree with some comments made in the thread, but I'm not here to dictate.

Liebermann's real name is Miguel? Is he a Jew or a Mexican? I am getting confused here. Or maybe he's a Mexican Jew, that'd be an interesting combination.

Eitherway, I don't agree with closing this thread either. I want the see what Go-L guy has to say about his racial slurrs.

Letting him get away with these kinds of inappropriate comments just reinforces negativities Americans have towards the Taiwanese.

In some ways it's true, what you have learned in the sociology class. Asian Americans generally are encouraged to be traditional, conforming to parental ideals. Who hasn't heard of an Asian parent say "go to Harvard, get PHD and drive BMW!"

Most Asians tend to stick to their tasks at hand and don't make much noise. The ones that make noise ill-represents those who don't. The Asians that are speaking out now are usually uninformed and insecure. i.e. rice boys.

Portugese Mexican, bah same thing. Now you know what it's like to be stereotyped.

You wouldn't care because you've never been discriminated against. Whether Go-L is lying or not is not my concern. But their attitude is a problem.

If you want to support Go-L's racial discriminatory remarks, by all means. In that case you are no better than the Go-L guy in my opinion.
