I just have a quick question. Is there any way you can get rid of oily marks on laptop keys? If not can you replace certain keys or do you have to buy a whole new keyboard? Thanks!

I'm not really sure if what you're talking about is in fact oil and if it is, a terrycloth towel dampened with windex always works for me cleaning my keyboard. You may be talking about the fact that certain keys, especially the space bar get worn smooth and maybe it looks like oil to you. If the fact that the keys are worn bothers you, go to ebay and start bidding on a new keyboard.

If it's just oily, wipe the thing and you're fine. If you mean the shiny keys... that's just the matte finish rubbing off. Any keyboard will do that after some time. You should see my spacebar! Heh.

Yep. I have a nice thumb print on the left side of my space bar.. A few of my other keys (WASD ;-D) are also starting to wear down.

Yeah!

I'm not worried though, as long as the letters are still on the keys! Haha.
