problems with DVDShrink3.2 and Nero 6.6

Hey Everyone, I just upgraded my DVD burner to a Lite On DVD burner with Lightscribe and I upgraded Nero to Version 6.6 that came along with the Lite On burner and Nero 6.6 has lightscribe support for it. Well the first time I ran DVD Shrink 3.2, it wouldn't recognize Nero 6.6. I had to uninstall Nero 6.6 and reinstall Nero 6.0 for DVD Shrink to recognize the burner. I wanted to be able to use DVD Shrink to burn the movies and use the Lightscribe to make labels. Anyone else have this problem?? There isn't a newer version of DVD Shrink than 3.2 that I can use that may have fixed this problem is there?? What are my other choices for burning a movie and then Lightscribing a label to it?? Thanks.

Just use nero to burn the disc after you have shrunk it, it's like 3 extra clicks.

Thanks Roboto, just exactly how do I do that?? What settings to I have to set DVD Shrink to in order to do that?? And then what do I set Nero to for that??

no, what you want to do is rip the dvd to a folder just like before with dvd shrink, then set it to NOT burn after it's complete.

Then in nero, select "Burn dvd-video". You will see 2 folders, delete the audo_ts folder, past all of the files that dvd shrink creates into the video_ts folder, then burn away.

Instead of reinstalling Nero 6.6, try uninstalling and reinstalling DVDShrink. Some of the guts of Nero 6.6 might be different, so it could have thrown DVDShrink off somewhere. Since it's a small program, you should be able to verify quickly whether that works or not.
