?'s about my new dv8000

I just bought a dv8000, and my girlfriends dad's inspiron has an indicator that display's an estimated time left. Is there somewhere to set it to show time, or a program to do this that I can download?

Also, cpu-z says my memory bus speed is 200mhz. Is there somewhere I can change this so that my memory operates at the full 333mhz?

Finally, is ther a setting so that when I unplug the power supply it goes from dekstop power management to notebook power management?

Thanks,
Shawn

i cant answer the third questions, but the other two i can.
the first question is answered simply by typing in "laptop battery monitor" into google. i got this result first.

the memory memory is dual channel meaning you have to multiply that 200mhz by 2 to get 400mhz [the real operating frequency], thats pc3200 [ddr400] ram. the 333mhz is the rate at which 166mhz[pc2700 or ddr333] dual channel ram operates at [a lower frequency and slower ram]. your ram is fine.

Even though it's a turion processor and only runs on single channel because of this? I tried checking my bios, but the bios doesn't let you change the speed of the memory.

For battery time, I used Notebook Hardware Control - www.pbus-167.com/chc.htm
