Core DUO T2300 1.66ghz 166x10@1.075v

The Test
XVID 1.2cvs multithreaded code (MPEG4 ASP)

XVID Options:
Trellis quant.
Quarter Pixel (QPel)
Cartoon Mode
AS@L5
2pass
h.263 quant type
VHQ for B-frames
turbo mode
chroma motion
threads = 2

VDubMod/Avisynth Options:
Kernel deinterlace
resize 640x352
IVCT 23.967fps

I used disk 3 of Ghost in the Shell Second Gig, why? cause i eat sleep and breathe anime lol. clip was about 8000 frames. heres the results

quite fast if u ask me, the same settings but with one thread on my mobile athlon64 3000+ (OCed to 2.0ghz) would get about 45 first pass, and 29-31 on second pass

considering just how much of a joke the FPU is in Pentium M architecture (core duo as well) having 2 cores OWNZ. ofcourse a turion X2 would wipe the floor with core duo in a XVID encode. but here ya go. the cheapest core duo kicks ass and takes names.

Cool. I'm interested in how long it takes to encode a full-length (2-hour) feature.
