Dear compeers,

I am a conceited owner of an Alienware Area-51m 7700 laptop. Just quite a few information about my system in order that you are able to project my thoughts:

Microsoft® Windows® XP professional DE with SP2
Area-51m 7700 Case with 17" WideSXGA+ 1680 x 1050 LCD Display with Built-in Camera
Intel® 915P Chipset Supporting PCI-Express
Intel® Pentium® 4 Processor 550 withHT technology 3.4GHz 1MB Cache
1,25 GB Dual Channel DDR2 PC-4200, 533MHz (4x256MB)
Area-51m 7700 NVIDIA GeForce 6800 Go with 256MB of DDR memory
Extreme Performance - RAID 0 - 120GB (60GB x 2) 7200 U/min ATA100
24x10x24 CD-RW / 8x DVD Combo w/Software
Sound-Blaster Pro 3D Audio
10/1000Mb Ethernet Adapter
Wireless 802.11a+b+g miniPCI card
56K Modem with V.92 technology
USB Floppy Disk
Notebook Keyboard - German

Last time when I had aggravating issues with my terrific laptop I just send it to Alienware Ireland and then they repaired it and I received a new one, however the guarantee is limited and so Alienware told me on the hotline today that I am out of guarantee

Finally I decided on taking matters into my hands. My actual problem:

I played C&C Generals and suddenly a blue screen arose that looks similar to this:

Ever afterwards my laptop acts as if it had no power at all. The 3 LEDs are just dark and there is nothing I can do. I already reset bios (CMOS) by swapping the battery and I tried to turn on my laptop without the rechargeable battery.

I screwed open my laptop already as well, but everythink seemed to be quite correct. This is an urgent request for help. I don't want to chuck out my precious laptop

Not sure if this helps .. but what little I could read between the needles ... it appears as though nvidia ?? file and/or driver went south. You could reload the driver and see if the problem goes away ..... I guess you could always restore back to a point in time prior to the bad file ... or just do a fresh reload. Another thought ..... see if you could copy a good nv4_disp file ...

You understood me wrong
How can I reload a drive if I can't even start my laptop :S
If I try to turn on my laptop, nothing happens, as if there is no power.
The blue screen isn't of my laptop, it was just an example.

If the light on your power supply doesn't turn on either when you plug it in the jack port than you have to get a new one (I think they're one of the first things to fail after a few years, it really sucks if your warranty (guarantee?) already expired). It's clear that perhaps a wrong NVidia video driver messed up your power supply.

P.S. What was your last issue? How did Alienware resolve it?
