No buzzing?? Not even with Tokamak demos or 3D settings to full??

Is there anybody with 06/02 without problems as well?

So far, mine has been great. I do find a few things that could be better:

1. the view-angle for LCD a bit too narrow. It has to be line-up straight to see clear evenly. But other than that, it's all good.

2. Speakers are OK at best, as mentioned above. They could be better for a laptop priced so.

3. Hot airs blowing out of the vent isn't too comforting at first. A laptop cooler would be nice addition for those who have their 8204 turn on for long period of time.

Though it helps alot by turning down performance via Acer's ePower Management. For not so intense works (emails, surfing nets, word processing), I turn it down to medium power, which cools down quite a bit.

4. Bluetooth. I have problem connecting my W800i with it. My brother's Aspire works fine!?!? Hm.... But this is something I don't use on daily basis, so I can live with USB cable for now.

5. KB could use some refinements. As is, it feels "cheap" with that "click click" sound when typing. But maybe I just being picky.....

And no buzzing, even running 3D, or games. No dead pixels either. The whole unit feels tight and well put together.

That gives me some hope that also some of 06/02 might be good and without buzzing...

I love the keyboard. Mine is quiet. No clicking.

I did find a dead pixel on the weekend though... grrrr

You shouldn't accept a dead pixel on a laptop this price.

Yeah but there is this policy, that in case of Acer accepts up to 10 dead pixels if not closed to the center, I guess. It is a ridiculous number. Unfortunately. When speaking about the notebook of such price...well, there is not a lot of resellers who alows to try the notebook before the purchase...One should have all the right to examine everything on the notebook of such a price!!!!

Yes in the UK the distance selling rules mean you can return it within 7 days if there is anything you don't like such as any dead pixels.
