Diagnostic partition?

Just wanted to know if there's any way to get the Dell diagnostic software back. I'm having a SMALL problem that really doesn't matter.. But is a problem nonetheless. The LEDs on my battery don't light up. Dell has replaced the battery, and it still does not work. They want me to run diagnostics before they take any other action, but I deleted it when I reformatted. What do i do?

it comes with the back up cd's dell should but dosent give. if you dont have it, call for it. they will charge you for it. make sure you get 3 cd's - the OS cd, utility and driver cd and the diagnostic as well.

Download an ISO here to burn your own bootable diagnostic CD (make sure and get version A1257, the last file in the "Dell Files" list).

Thanks to both of you, and yeah, I have the CDs.. I just never looked at them closely to see what they actually had on them. Thanks a lot!
