Yeah, I know what you mean. I ordered mine the Saturday before you and Im still on phase 4 and have been there since Saturday.

Order from the UK. Check my Phase dates. There are 3 of us on the forum who have purchased within 2 weeks of each other and have only had to wait max 10 days.

What's going on?????

well since the U.S. is much larger than the U.K. and I thik the geek ratio is slgihtly higher. The poor aliens are working as fast as they can to keep up with the american demand for more power but they only have 3 fingers so give'em a break.

ughh... v2.0

well i wrote here before about how AW keeps lying to me about progressing my order which was 5weeks in production and only reached phase 8 this friday. Well last time i called them , on friday i told them if the laptop is not shipped by jan 30th (next friday) i'm gona cancel my order. ...just a brief summary it took them 4and half weeks to go from phase 2 to phase8, and thats just what? checking manuals and checking inventory for parts, unprofessionally slow! Well anyways, i complained on friday, threatened that i'm being lied to and that i'll cancel my order, so yesterday (tuesday) i check my email and what do i see? I went to Phase 14. Is it really good news or bad news? Sure its good news i'll get my laptop this friday, but i fear my laptop went through half assed assembly w/o any "200 point checks", if thats the case, i could've gotten my laptop 3 weeks ago. I'm so mad at AW AAAAA!!! Hate them for treating their customers like this especially when we pay so much.

hehe maybe the poster "Scott from Alienware" is really from there and what he said about complaining and getting your lappy faster but having the quality inspection skipped is true...........

Sorry for your pain and I hope all is well with the delivery....

This anticipation is killin me. Last night (in bed) I kept asking my wife what phase she is at. I could not get her out of phase 3.

is phase 3 ingnoring you incesant whining about your laptop or is that phase 4
I know phase 1 is insane rage at the amount of money you spent and phase 2 is accepting the money is gone and she can't get it back but i foreget what comes after that!

What a totally kick-ass machine, just got it today! I'm furiously installing all of my games and files as I write this.

I will post later with more...


--btw why does my purchase order say 'P4 3.2GHz (x2)' and my device settings also say 'multiprocessor system' and also has listed under 'processors' P4 3.2GHz and P4 3.2GHz just below it again? Did I miss something?

Finally! Finally! It's here! And this thing is huge. (that didn't sound right.) I was worried about the 15.4" display but all my worries melted away when I opened this thing. I'm still installing a few games on here, but as soon as I spend a little time breaking it in I'll be back to give my review.
