700m Memory: Are same size memory modules better?

Does it make any significant or noticable difference in performance if the two memory modules in the 700m are the same size (or not)?

I have a 1GB module in one slot and a 512MB module in the second slot.

Thanks.

If both of the modules were the same size, they would be running in dual channel mode. Since they are different sizes, they are in single mode now.

Does it make a whole lot of difference?

The 700m can't run dual-channel.

The two different sized modules cause no performance loss at all. You are fine.
