XPS M170 - worth the waiting?

So I've been browsing around for a while, and I've finally registered to NBF. Anyway, I own a Toshiba Satellite from 05, but it's not actually 'mine'. But let's not get into the lengthy intro.

I leaned from Sager 5720 to the Dell m170. I heard Vista's coming out in a couple months. At the current time, the m170 could come off as $2500 with the right coupon, and I dont know how Vista would affect the price of this laptop. It seems kind of expensive so I may either buy it soon or wait until the holiday season for the possibly big savings. I know it's not your money and not your decision, but say that you had the money now, would you take it now or wait for the Christmas specials?

Sorry if I come off as a complete noob to the forums because yes - I am.

You could get the M170 as cheap as $1708. There's another thread about it in the other forum.

For that price, it's a steal

Could you link that please? I'm about to upgrade my Gen1 to a Gen2, and that's about half the price I'm looking at from buying from Dell with no coupon.

Also, where do I get ahold of these coupons everyone's talking about?
