After much debate....

Well I've been looking to get an XPS M170 and dropping roughly 1,800 on it....

After reviewing my current bills if i held back $1000.00 from tax returns and save 2 checks I will be compleatly out of debt come June

So instead of dropping it all on a Laptop i swallowed my greed and got

I6000. 1.86Ghz 533FSB, 1GB Ram, 80HD and 128 ATI. for just under 900 shipped. not a hard core gamming machine, not a hard core video editing machine, but it cant be any worse than my old desktop.

Thanks for everyones help on the XPS M170

**EDIT** Got letter it was an 80GB HD

Thanks bro....Now only thing that is concerning me, i havent got a confermation letter it said a few minutes but i guess could be an hour

Yea Finally got both Emails confirming my order....

Bond, have you played BF2 on your system? I'm just curious if it'll even play on it. It should but i figure settings will have to be low (thats what my old desktop had to have to beable to play)

Currently in school, i was working doing underground utility locating which was great money. Right around 1yr 8mth i was able to go from $24,000 in debt down to right around $2,800

Now i'm looking to get a job in Law Enforcement or Computer Science.

Update....Ordered last night at 12:04am Mountian time, it has already been shipped out! now thats the fastest i've ever seen dell work.

Wow reading your story gave me strength to get my debt paid off. Then I ordered a 2405 LCD.

If i would have had my tax return check last week, i would have a XPS M170 sitting in my lap....but whats odd....I got intoxicated and thats when i thought....its funny, i can get my a$$ kicked at forza (with the wheel) sober by my roommate....but intoxicated with a great buzz, i'll kick his @$$ and have more lodgical reasoning.

Its here! arrived today, I am loving this laptop NO LIGHT LEEK what so ever, already played a round of BF2 with out O/C the x300 and it played well for this machine, over all impressed with this laptop....

Thought i got a bad power supply turns out it was just an outlet at my dads house, at my place no problem with the supply oh well good buy good buy

No amazing graphics, however, low settings, it runs just fine, no differnt than my old desktop, i'm gonna O/C it here in a few soon as i finish getting everything i want on here, and see how it handles then.

15.4 isnt meant for amazing gfx, merely adequate portability, with DUO (:
