BLUE SCREEN of DEATH!!

Ok, i've had my 1505 for a few days.. i reformatted hard drive, installed many freeware programs as found in guides on this site.. use firefox exclusively... and was on a google map when i tried to zoom in and $&@^%( screen appeared.. i rebooted and tried the same map again and got the same *(&%#) result.

Anyone have any ideas or suggestions (other than the obvious not use that map )

i havent seen that screen since windows me!

Hah, well do driver updates obviously. Video, chipset, etc. Make sure you have the most recent from the Dell website.

Aside from that I wouldn't know what to say, software wise. It could be a hardware issue, although not likely at all.

EDIT - Also, I'd be more inclined to blame whatever program you're using that's doing it.
