The GodFather the Game

This game is maxed out and plays flawlessly, even tho i don't have 7.2k hard drive yet! lol

full aa and af plus 1680 1050 widescreen 16:10 settings doesn't seem to bother the e1705

the game is quite nice, if you have watched the movie (all parts) then you gotta have this, i've been playing for 3 days and still (game progress %14) woow pretty long game

GTA type game well, thanks the EA for stealing the idea, but well done i would say

I MUST get this game!! I love it even when i haven't played it yet. Btw, if you like those kind of games, you will love Mafia, the best game i have ever played

Everytime I start the game I get past the splash screen then the copyright screen, then crashes to desktop. Any ideas?

Just finished Age of Empires 3.

GodFather, Mafia - any other games like GTA? Im a big GTA:SA fan, and im already 58% through it, so im gonna be done with it pretty soon. I'll be ready to run something else when I get my laptop.

So, any others like it?

you need to wait until you get the game's main screen,

there'a colombia screen you will see then the main screen will appear
well try to uninstall and reinstall the game, if that doesn't solve the issue then you may have directx problem

I've got the exact same problem with my copy of it! Just exits to the desktop after the copyright screen. Been thru the reinstall process at least 4 times, new drivers, etc, and NOTHING WORKS!

It's killing me!

EDIT: ok, I searched around Google, and found this thread on EA.com. Thread suggested that you cut the files "load.vp6" and "paramount.vp6" out of the "the godfather the game\movies" directory.

Paste them on the desktop or something in case it doesn't help... but now it goes from the copyright screen straight to the main menu!

Still doesnt work. I got to the menu for a sec, I seen the Godfather background, then it crashes with a windows error.
