Phase 3 since 3/16...still happy though

Hello folks, waiting on my AW7700. And thanks to all you fine folks on this forum your realy making me realize I made the right decision in choosing AW.
From what I have read the phase game appears to be a fact of life (Ive been stuck on Phase 3 for a little over two weeks now), and from what I have been reading from several of the posters, it's almost the same story for everyone so I wont go into my whinning about waiting.Besides what I could say has been said a 1,000 times over lol. I have come to expect my prized treasure a week to two after the delivery date I was given. Realistic enough?
One question I do have and I am not sure where to post it so I'll ask here and hopefully someone can point this nOOb in the right direction.
Due to finances and knowing I could upgrade the memory myself, any ideas what type of ram AW uses? I know it's Dual DDR2 but I'd like to buy a gig in a few weeks, Im just not sure what kind I need,200 pin? PC4200?
Any help would be great, and I know this question doesnt belong here in this section so If anyone can point me in the right direction thatd be great!

Well I have also been in Phase 3 from March 15 on my Aurora 7500 (see sig)

EDIT: NVM!!!!! I advanced to Phase 5 just now!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WOOT!

Still stuck in phase 3, called AW and was told vid card was still on back order and will not be in stock till 4/6 the day after my original shipping date. oh well, at least two more weeks, and the funny thing is, in my first post I asked if a month wait was realistic, guess what, It is

So the wait continues.......anticipation......

Heres the specs, I know it's not comparible to alot of the configs on here, so I'm a little embaressed. The memory I'll upgrade myself.
What can I say, I'm a simple man
I was going to upgrade to the ultra but since that would cancel my existing order, I couldn't bare to wait a week for the credit then another two weeks or more going through the phase game.
I realy did expect a quicker turnaround but we'll see over the next few weeks what happens.

Still stuck in phase three I recieved an email from AW yesterday and was told my vidcard is still on backorder and will not be in stock till the 21st of april. That'll put me around the last week or first week in May that I even see it shipped. It's almost painful day after day seeing the same phase while others seem to move along quite nicely.
I'm just looking for a little support, some assurance that my prized M7700 will arrive at some point.

Evandino ... it will show .... and not that it helps .. but know that many others have been where you are now ... you gotta try and not compare where your system is as to where other systems are ..... i know you are chomping at the bit for yours to arrive ... and it is hard to see other systems move while yours is waiting on this part or that part ....and not feel crappy about it ... but .... hang tough my man and it will be there and you will enjoy it ..... big time .. you are not alone in this ........

Just a quick update. I recieved an email today from AW offering me a reduced price on the 6800 Ultra or the 7800 GTX, since the video card I had originally ordered is still on backorder. I called AW about the reduced price on the 7800 and almost hit the floor! Needless to say I am now getting a kick ass 7800 card in my AW! It'll be a month this Sunday since I placed my order and maybe another two weeks till I see it delivered, but I'm as happy as can be right now!
I was starting to doubt the customer service at AW and am now completley blown away!! Two more weeks wait??? BAH! It's worth it to me for the video card upgrade! Thank you AW!
You made me happy again

PS: I was so jazzed I upgraded my warrenty and my memory

Phase 6 as of noon today, Haven't checked since then so It may be further along.*crosses fingers*
I owe not going crazy to the fine people on these forums. I have read and learned so much from being on these forums, and the loyalty that most of you show to AW makes me feel even better about the whole process and my purchase.
Ok I need to get back to WOW, helps the time pass lol
