UK: No 2.16 option

Why is the UK "neglected" by Sony? Do we not meet the same "qualities" that Americans hold that enable them to individually configure their laptops online? We are no less computer-illiterate than any other average jo across the waters. So why won't Sony let us configure our laptops? Or ATLEAST give us more options; like for the FE series we should beable to have smaller HDDs with higher RPMs, and faster proccessors.

Is there likely to be more options, with higher specs, within the next 3 months ?

I'd agree with this. And WHY do computer manufacturers give the same machine different names according to the side of the pond? Sony is bad for that. I understand that configured models can't be compared directly to our fixed models, but there are enough paralells... Grr.

Hehe, you should try Australia. We have 2 SZ models, and no choice of internal option changes

The 15 comes with a 1.66 and 60Gb HDD, and the 18 comes with a 1.83 and 80Gb Hdd.

I priced out the extended battery and it comes to AU$600.00 (about US$430.00)
