EPP coupon from email, kinda sucks i can't order the D620
post #30 of 41
So the day with the deal which is " forcasted " to be 10-15% off of the m170, ( which can be configured in the 1600's now, if you know where to find to configure it ) will be 10-15% more off of that already pretty darn low price?
*sigh* hopefully, the XPS will get better deals, or I'll go with a 9300 + lots of work upgrading/tweaking
post #32 of 41
i dought you will see the xps get below the 1,648 price im in sales and tried working 2 different reps 20 minutes each on different days for a 50 dollar discount and no dice.

Day 3 of the 10 day sale and it seems Dell is having trouble adding up on the following E1505 "deal":

Inspiron E15051
Intel® Core™ Duo processor T2300 (2MB Cache/1.66GHz/667MHz FSB)

Genuine Windows® XP Media Center Edition 2005

80GB2 5400rpm SATA Hard Drive

1GB2 Shared Dual Channel DDR2 SDRAM at 533MHz, 2 Dimm

8X CD/DVD Burner (DVD+/-RW) with double-layer DVD+R write capability

Save $20! 1Yr Ltd War, 1Yr At-Home Serv, and 1Yr HW Warranty3 Support

Featured at
$1,461
$633
After $414 Off Instantly!

Now when I went to school, $633 is $414 off $1047 not $1461! Of course, if you add it to your cart, it shows $1047, but I want my E1505 to be $633 like they advertise

I just bought the 160gb external hard drive they have today. Heck of a deal for $79.99 with free shipping.
You can't use the coupons with it either, and the coupons were a better deal than the 414 discount.

They realized their mistake & have updated the web site. I think you could have called them when you 1st saw that deal & demanded that you want to buy a system that they say cost $633. I'm sure just for you, they may have given you that price due to their mistake.
Of course they would - NOT!

How would you know they wouldn't??? Have you tried it??? I have heard 1 or 2 cases where Dell honored deals due to their mistake in pricing... Furthermore, there's no harm trying & if you're "hardcore" enough, I believe you may have got that deal....

Dell's system messed up and stacked the basic $ off promo on top of the Days of Dell promo. They since created a different e-value code for the DoD offer and correct the issue. The code wasn't stacking either. So I'm sure people called to complain it didn't work.
