Nvidia Driver issues.

I am having trouble finding the correct drivers for the nvidia 7800GTX video card installed in my laptop. It is a 9750 (obviously) and everytime i download the drivers from nvidias site, it tells me that it does not have any compatible drivers when i run the installer. I also tried the normal driver package to no avail.

If some one could tell me what i am doing wrong, or point me in the right direction, I would be very grateful.

And to top it all off, i followed the directions by uninstalling the old drivers before attempting to instal the updated ones.

Also, are the drivers on one of the discs that came with the laptop? i do not have access to them, no will I for som time....

Another post in the Drivers forum here http://www.notebookforums.com/showth...77#post1910577 announces and links to the latest nvidia drivers available directly from Sager. Might be worth a try to download frome there.

You can also get the latest drivers from these forums, but make sure you pick the right version (not Vista) and follow the instructions for using a different inf. file (downloadable from same place).

where are the instructions on how to use the mod drivers and the inf file ?
