And any spare they have, will be reserved for repairs, as they won't jeopardise people who have just bought a new notebook who may need to have it repaired. Toshiba will be using the 7900, so they need stock, aswell as all the other companies so it's a no no for the next few months at least, before any of you are gonna be seeing it as an upgrade.
Let me add to this. The original poster's point is that the possibility of the 7900 fitting in our notebooks, not when we'll get them.

You keep calling them dated, but if they can upgrade to the 7900 that makes them... not dated.

The core duo you obviously so proudy own is also dated, because 64 bit ones are coming out soon. So just STFU, no one cares that you like Toshiba or think that the M170 is dated, or anything else you say, for that matter.

Gee, I'm to busy video editing while I'm gaming... no wonder I'm always dying...

And the ability to run current games maxed out makes our notebooks dated?

I am pretty sure I put a link to a 7800GTX instead of a 7900GTX.

The facts:
The M90 is released, with the same chassis as the 9300 or 9400, I'm guessing much more towards the 9400.
The M90's running a Quadro version of the 7900GTX.
The 7800GTX was just transplanted into a 9400 quite easily.

It just seems very possible that we'll all be able to get our hands on a Go 7900GTX for our lappies before their life ends....What do you think?
Hope God is listening! it would be great

Hmm if it will fit i might upgrade this time.
I skipped the 7800 series.

Children, Children... Is there any need?....

I'd be very interested to see how an OC'd 7800GTX compares to an OC'd 7900GTX... I don't think there will be a significant difference...

If the Go 7900GTX can compare to say, the 512mb 7800GTX, then it's already worth it to me. Trust me, in the future when I'm desperately digging for more performance, it will be a window of opportunity.

Ohh, I want to wait till Dirrectx10, but, sigh, give me a good deal and I'll love Dell like a fat kid loves cake.
