Hi all,
I couldn't find a forum for celvo based laptops (that aren't sager/alienware). Is posting question here acceptable?
Still doing my research on what to get - I'm pretty much sold on getting a top-end core duo for work/gaming/entertainment (in that order).
I've been aiming @ the dell i9400 - until dell ripped out the decent graphics card options. Somewhere along the line, Rock was mentioned, and their new machine (XCTX) seems to fit the bill. But I don;t know too much about rock, and am hoping for non-biased opinions (naturally the folks on the rock forums are generally very pro).
Another factor that influences my pruchasing is that they are based in the UK - which is where I'm moving to early May (moving from South Africa). Us based comanies of clevo-based (powerpc, etc. etc.) have largely informed me that any warranty issues outside US involve me paying for international shipping - even if it is a warranty/hardware problem
The specifc machine specs (I won't link - I'm not trying to sell) are below, and the price. It's not cheap...

Xtreme CTX Core Duo T2600 (2.16GHz), 1GB / 100GB / DVD Writer & 17" TFT
