No, you can't. Which is kind of dodgy on Apple's part if you ask me. I think even Dell lets you return customised computers. They can easily just sell it again as a refurb...that's what they do with the off the shelf machines when they're returned.

The thing that raised the red flag for me (probably should've posted earlier) is that when he started this thread, it was his second post. His other post was to trade a good (not great) desktop for a laptop. Now, I and a few others asked questions about this desktop, easy ones, no reply. I was surprised he even wrote back on the thread for this one. It all seems a bit odd. Let's face it, you come here looking to do $1000+ in business with no refs and poor specs, it just looks like this guy has no idea what he's doing, I don't think anyone would really fall for it. Anyone who refuses escrow.com has to be fishy. I guess you guys already figured that out, but because of his poor communication in his first thread, I wouldn't trust him in this one.

well it is interesting that many people here are in the army, great, we have many soldiers around whose trying to sell their computers...

yep selling 3k laptop for 2.5k is really funny and silly and stupid and scammy
