I'm gonna have you banned.

the 7800 is a very good card, I have not problems with it, but I can get the 7900 for free in about a week or two as a replacement, so I will jump on that. My rep also told me I could get the XPS as replacement but I said that I will wait for the 7900

hows that? Is it part of complete care or do you just know the right people?

I have no probs with my 7800, but a free upgrade is always cool in my book.

If that makes you feel better, that's fine. I don't eidt posts anyways.

Doesn't mean I'm going to stop posting here

You're the on starting the flames by insulting my graphics card, saying it's a "bust card."

Now I kind of wish that I would have kept my E1705 with a defective 7800.

shut up kids

good news the 7900 is coming. ill be buying soon. i bet theyll take the x1300 off the 9400, and just move the cards down in price.
Oh shut up, that's a lie. Go back to the previous page and see if I said anything about YOUR graphics card. No. I said that most of the 7800's are bust. NOTHING about yours. So STFU. YOU started calling me an idiot, and then went off on a tangent about me.

Both me and JaxChris are gonna be having you banned. Watch.

Hopefully they reduce the price on the cards in the E1505 too because of this. I've been waiting to get one for my fiance (in NZ), and we dont have coupons here. It's just $200 over her budget :\

Did you return it or get your money back? Time to start saving up to get a new one then?

Hopefully it is available in configuration, and not just as an upgrade.

You guys a total freaking cry babies.

I'm claiming to have one, IDIOT, because I ordered my laptop WITH one. HOPING that I wouldnt get a bust card.
This insinuates that you ordered the i9400 in hopes that you would get a 7900 and not get stuck with a "bust" 7800go. That also generalizes stating all 7800's are "bust cards."

NOTE: I've also been on these boards a year longer than you have...

I dont wanna bother arguing with you anymore. I'll just get you banned. So enjoy your time while you're still here.

i doubt the prices of the 1505 cards will budge at all, maybe a little. but thats mroe because they have been availible for a while. dell always drops prices within 3-4months after a card omes out. but it usually doesnt go any lower than what they drop it to the first time.

as for the 9400, i see they already have REMOVED the x1300 as an option, this was my first indication that the 7900 was on its way very soon.

im guessing the 7900 will be the new 179$upgrade, and the x1400 will move down to about a 80-90$ move.
that make lots of sense... the 7900 for 9400 will be available next or in two weeks, same thing for the new XPS
post #36 of 61
The 7800 upgrade was $300. I don't know why they would make the 7900 less than that.

I agree.

At the least they'll have sales where it's a $249 upgrade. Theres no way it'll be less than that.

Makemedie you should chill...
All this talk of 7800s being "bust" is making my 6800 feel real inadequate. Just you wait, I'll find some way to jam in the new 8800 into my 9300 when it comes about, and I'll own you all!

OK, so maybe I don't care that much about leading edge graphics performance after all.

Noody
