one of the features that attracted me to the 5660 (and it's compatriates) was it's range of video and audio outputs. I tend to get quite alot of films etc in avi/mpeg format that I want to play on my tv, using the 5660's s-video and s/pdif (or 2.5mm jack) outputs.
All my audio and video goes though my home cinema system (the sound is output through my 5.1 system and the picture gets sent to the tv). This system hs regular optical inputs as well as component video(/audio) inputs.
I've been looking a cables to accomplish this and I'm not having much luck. First off, I can't find any s/pdif cables that work with the 5660's s/pdif port and I can't find any cables that are s-video and 2 rca (or one 2.5mm stereo plug) at one end and 3 rca (component video) at the other end.
What have you folks come up with to accomplish this?
